Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform Service, for automating the management of hybrid cloud infrastructure, now is available as a managed offering on Amazon Web Services through the AWS Marketplace.
General availability of Red Hat’s automation service was announced December 2. Ansible Automation Platform Service on AWS makes it easier for customers to manage cloud infrastructure by streamlining and operationalizing otherwise-complex and potentially error-prone activities, Red Hat said. Making Ansible Automation Platform a managed offering on AWS Marketplace gives IT teams access to a faster, simpler way to deploy cloud infrastructure automation at scale through a cloud-optimized solution without having to learn a new tool or integrate additional technologies into their operations, Red Hat said.
Offering security, integrations, and automation, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform is positioned as a solution for operating complex hybrid clouds, from the data center to multiple public clouds to the edge, along with AI applications at scale. Organizations can lean on automation encapsulated in Ansible to maintain resilience and efficiency needed to innovate with new technologies, including AI, while keeping day-to-day operations smooth, Red Hat said.
Red Hat offer both managed and self-managed options for Ansible Automation Platform on AWS. A Red Hat-managed solution enables organizations to focus on innovation through automation instead of managing the platform, from scaling, upgrades, and more. The self-managed option offers greater customization and configuration, enabling regulated industries or managed services partners to manage their own tools for cloud deployments requiring enhanced security, the company said.
