Role Overview

We are seeking a Solution Architect specialising in mediation platforms to design and implement CDR processing, data mediation and real-time streaming solutions for 4G, 5G and IMS environments. You will work across architecture, engineering and validation to ensure solutions meet operational and business requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Design mediation architectures for 4G, 5G and IMS-based networks
  • Define CDR processing flows, transformation rules and output formats
  • Architect real-time data pipelines using Kafka and streaming platforms
  • Produce HLD/LLD and interface specifications for integration with BSS/OSS systems
  • Lead architecture reviews and collaborate with engineering delivery teams
  • Validate mediation solutions against acceptance criteria and evidence requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Deep experience with telecom mediation platforms and CDR processing
  • Understanding of 4G, 5G and IMS network architectures
  • Hands-on with Kafka, streaming and real-time data pipelines
  • SQL proficiency and relational database design experience
  • Kubernetes familiarity for containerised mediation deployments

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with specific mediation vendors or platforms in CSP environments
  • Exposure to BSS integration including billing and revenue assurance
  • Understanding of 3GPP charging and event data record standards
